Our client, an innovative technology business, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the New York team. This role sits at the heart of planning and performance, combining hands on analysis with business partnering to support international scale.

A product led tech company with a strong data culture and an international footprint. The business is investing in finance, systems, and analytics to support expansion and improve decision quality across commercial and operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will own core forecasting and reporting cycles, build robust models, and deliver clear insights to leadership across product, GTM, and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing monthly forecasting, budget updates, and variance analysis with clear commentaries for executives.
- Building and maintaining driver based financial models for revenue, headcount, and operating expenses.
- Preparing monthly reporting packs and dashboards with KPIs such as ARR, churn, CAC, payback, and unit economics where relevant.
- Partnering with GTM and Product to model pricing, promotions, pipeline conversion, and cohort trends.
- Supporting the month end process with accruals, reclasses, and flux reviews in partnership with Accounting.
- Leading scenario analysis and what if cases for strategic initiatives, hiring plans, and vendor negotiations.
- Improving data quality, reporting templates, and automation across Excel, Power BI, and the ERP.
- Assisting with board materials, investor requests, and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in FP&A or finance analytics within tech or a fast paced environment.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills. Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI or similar BI tools is preferred.
- Solid understanding of SaaS and subscription KPIs or willingness to learn quickly.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and translating findings into clear business recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders.
- ERP and planning tool experience is a plus for example NetSuite, Oracle, Anaplan.
