Financial Controller | PE-backed | £1bn Turnover | Central London (Hybrid)

This is a career-defining Financial Controller opportunity within a PE-owned, global market leader operating at serious scale. The PE house behind the business is the largest in the world and is known for building best-in-class leadership teams, they are hiring top people, with top academics, and this role sits right at the centre of that strategy.

You'll report directly to the CFO and operate across the full breadth of the organisation, communicating comfortably with Accounts Payable clerks one minute, McKinsey consultants and Board-level stakeholders the next. This is not a role for someone who hides behind spreadsheets.

The role:

* Broad, hands-on Financial Controller position with real autonomy

* High-level reporting, board exposure and PE interaction

* Deep involvement in the detail, this is a sleeves-rolled-up environment

* Managing a small, capable team

* Significant visibility and influence across the business

This is an ideal first FC role or early-stage FC position for someone ready to step up and be truly accountable.

About you:

* ACA qualified (Big 4 strongly preferred, though other strong routes considered)

* Likely in your second commercial role, ready for real ownership

* Exceptionally articulate, able to influence at all levels

* Commercially sharp, intellectually curious and quick on your feet

* Strong academic background is essential
