Overview
Altum Consulting are supporting a high-growth AI tech company that has recently completed its Series B funding round to recruit a Finance Manager to support the delivery of consolidations and statutory reporting across its expanding global footprint. This newly created role is a key addition to the finance function, ideal for a technically strong and ambitious finance professional who wants to help build the foundations of a scalable reporting environment as the company grows toward further funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of consolidation reporting, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Own statutory reporting and compliance for U.S. and international subsidiaries, partnering with external auditors and advisors.
- Develop and enhance reporting frameworks, ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and consistency of financial data across the business.
- Streamline and strengthen close processes, introducing scalable systems and controls to support continued growth.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Operations to align actuals, forecasts, and management reporting for leadership visibility.
- Partner with the VP, SVP Finance and CFO to prepare board-level materials, investor updates, and audit deliverables.
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, automation, and integration of new entities.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA qualification (or equivalent) preferred, with strong technical accounting and consolidation experience.
- 4-6 years of progressive experience, ideally within a blend of public accounting (Big 4 or similar) and high-growth, multi-entity environments.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
- Proven experience contributing to and/or improving financial reporting and consolidation processes.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving business.
- Strong communicator with the ability to partner across functions in a collaborative, high-performance culture.
