Senior Product Manager, Identity, Commerce, and Community (ICC)
Hourly Rate: $120 - $140
Duration: ASAP to 12/31/26
Location: New York
OVERVIEW
The Senior Product Manager, Identity, Commerce, and Community (ICC) is responsible for the strategy and roadmap of the foundational services (e.g. APIs, entitlements, preferences/consent) that power trusted relationships with our audience and members across the brands. This includes account, subscription/membership, and community user flows.
In this role, you will align multiple workstreams into a single domain plan, set shared decision criteria and measurement, and partner with brand product teams to accelerate front-end feature delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the domain roadmap across Identity, Community, and Commerce - sequencing work, managing dependencies, and making clear tradeoffs across multiple squads and partners.
- Turn ambiguous needs into shared framing (problem statements, constraints, decision criteria) so brand teams can ship consistent front-end experiences faster with less rework.
- Standardize measurement for the domain (KPIs guardrails), including total cost of ownership calculations and instrumentation expectations that work across brands and surfaces.
- Drive execution across dependencies: MVP scope, rollout readiness, and risk management.
- Manage vendor relationships where applicable, ensuring our needs are well represented in vendor roadmaps and new capabilities are adopted quickly.
- Lead and develop APMs/PMs: set goals, ensure scoped backlogs ladder to the domain roadmap, and ensure product artifact quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 5 years of product management experience, including ownership of a platform or shared service for identity/auth, subscription lifecycles, or community/UGC.
- Track record of aligning stakeholders on priorities, tradeoffs, and sequencing across multi-team dependencies.
- Strong product judgement and analytical rigor: can define KPIs/guardrails, build decision narratives under uncertainty, and drive post-launch learning loops.
- Experience translating partner needs into clear requirements (PRDs/user stories) with attention to adoption and increasing the velocity of internal product teams.
Preferred:
- Experience improving platform leverage metrics
- People management experience or a strong record of mentoring early-career PMs
