Position Overview
We are partnering with an exciting global media brand on an internal redesign project relating to the build out of an entirely new division for the brand.
The Associate Product Manager will support the delivery of new app and connected TV (CTV) features, as well as workflow improvements that enhance how audiences discover, consume, and engage with platform content. This role collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data/Analytics, and Editorial teams to help develop high-quality digital experiences.
The role will contribute to initiatives related to site navigation, content discovery, search, homepage and subscriber experiences, templates, and platform performance improvements. These efforts aim to improve usability, streamline workflows, and drive positive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, Data/Analytics, and Editorial to align on product features and functionality.
Assist in gathering product requirements and translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Help prioritize and maintain the product backlog in coordination with product leadership.
Support the delivery of new app and CTV features that improve content discovery and user engagement.
Participate in product testing, collect feedback, and help ensure overall product quality.
Write, track, and prioritize bug tickets to support ongoing product improvements.
Contribute to improving user workflows, subscriber experiences, and platform usability.
Use basic analytics and performance metrics to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for optimization.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role such as Product Management, Project Management, or Scrum Master.
Ability to break down complex problems, define requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive execution.
Familiarity with app development concepts including user journeys, app design, and release cycles.
Understanding of subscription lifecycle concepts such as funnel optimization, renewals, cancellations, and churn drivers.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Comfort working with data to inform decisions, including familiarity with analytics, conversion metrics, funnels, or A/B testing results.
Ability to write clear product documentation including user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate closely with engineering and design teams.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Figma.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
Experience contributing to digital products on mobile applications.
Familiarity with CTV platforms or video-first digital experiences is a plus.
