ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER, COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES
Hourly Rate: $55 - $75/Hr

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Product Manager, Community is responsible for feature development within platform's new Community offerings.
You'll lead the discovery and delivery of specific features that power engaging, healthy communities for our subscribers and moderation tools that support community team workflows with guidance from brand product teams, editorial, and community managers.
You'll partner cross-functionally and deliver improvements for specific user journeys while building requirements and measurement designed to scale across brands.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with community, editorial, and engineering teams to build engaging community features (e.g. comments, forums, live discussions, events, creator/member tools)
- Synthesize user needs, business goals, and data insights into clear product requirements
- Use experimentation, analytics, and qualitative feedback to inform decisions
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of feature requests and enhancements
- Partner with vendors to advocate for bug fixes and feature improvements and ensure timely delivery
- Partner with engineering to ensure seamless integrations and data flows
- Help define success metrics focused on engagement, participation, retention, and quality of discourse
- Communicate tradeoffs and progress to cross-functional stakeholders
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of product management or relevant experience with one or more core product functions: conducting user research, collecting requirements, writing user stories, or delivering new capabilities to end users.
- 1 year experience working on community or forum user experiences and user generated content
- Experience collaborating with and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills in a variety of forums (e.g. written, presentation)
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to synthesize user research and data to make decisions
PREFERRED
- Familiarity with moderation workflows, community health metrics, or trust & safety concepts
- Exposure to agile product practices and iterative releases
- Experience contributing to reusable capabilities used by multiple teams or brands
- Experience coordinating with external vendors (e.g. ticketing, validation, release support)
