Loan Operations and Credit Facilities Manager

Location | Amsterdam (hybrid working)

We are partnering with a global, NASDAQ listed firm operating in the investment space to support their search in hiring a Loan Operations and Credit Facilities Manager.

This role will be based in the Amsterdam HQ and will be working as a part of a very international, diverse and high-performing Treasury team.

As a newly created role, the Loan Operations and Credit Facilities Manager will be working as a senior sole contributor focusing on reporting, governance and ongoing improvement of a complex credit facilities portfolio.

The position sits within Treasury and would suit someone who brings strong loan operations, fund finance or credit facility reporting experience ideally from a banking, financial services, asset management or private markets environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing lender and bank reporting across multiple credit facilities, including covenant compliance certificates, utilisation reporting and event-driven notifications
  • Owning reporting processes and ensuring facility data is accurate and available to support essential decision making
  • Working closely with cross-functional external and internal stakeholders such as;- Accounting, Investments, Deals, Legal, Technology and Auditors
  • Supporting rating agency reporting, annual surveillance processes and audit-related documentation
  • Building a more scalable and controlled reporting framework, including process documentation, reporting calendars, quality checks and automation opportunities
  • Improving manual reporting processes, particularly around historical utilisation and facility-level reporting outputs

Experience & Education:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience working within Loan Operations and Credit Facilities, ideally within the Banking or Financial Services industry
  • Educated with a CFA, CTA or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of credit facility structures, covenant mechanics, borrowing base calculations and lender reporting requirements.
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Confident managing senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to take full ownership of a process and make key business decisions
  • Comfortable working across complex fund and facility structures
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive process efficiency's
  • Fluency in English is essential
