Systems Analyst (Sage Intacct)

• Location: London, hybrid - 2 days per week onsite
• Rate: £350-£400 per day
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Duration: Initial contract to November, with potential for further work
• Start: ASAP

We're supporting a well-established, purpose-led organisation as they go through an important period of change across their finance systems.

They are currently undertaking a finance systems migration and are looking for a hands-on Systems Analyst to provide additional technical support during a key stage of the programme.

This is a hands-on role rather than a project management or transformation position. You'll be working directly with systems, integrations and data, helping the team solve problems and successfully embed their new finance systems environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing finance systems migration and associated activity
• Assist with finance system administration and configuration
• Work hands-on with integrations, APIs and data flows
• Write and work with JSON and XML
• Support data management, cleansing and migration activities
• Use advanced Excel, including Power Query and macros
• Troubleshoot system and data issues
• Provide practical support and training to users
• Work closely with Finance and the wider project team to resolve issues and priorities

What we're looking for:

• Hands-on Finance Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst or Systems Accountant experience
• Strong practical experience with JSON and XML
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and macros
• Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
• Experience working with APIs and systems integrations
• Strong data management and data cleansing experience
• Experience administering accounting or finance systems
• PS Financials / IRIS Financials experience would be advantageous
• A part-qualified accounting background would be beneficial
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support and train users
• Comfortable working at pace and getting into the technical detail
