Senior Oracle Financials Analyst

Oracle Technical Support Specialist | Finance Systems | European Retail Group

We are partnering with a leading European retail group to appoint an Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Support Specialist into a pivotal Finance Systems role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oracle EBS professional to join a small, high-performing team supporting critical finance applications across multiple European markets.

The role will focus on supporting Oracle Finance applications, ensuring business users receive a high standard of service, while also helping manage technical incidents, reporting requirements, audit compliance and the transition of projects into BAU support.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 finance applications across a European user base.
* Providing technical support and development across Oracle Finance modules.
* Resolving incidents in line with agreed support KPIs and service measures.
* Working closely with finance users, IT teams and external partners to investigate and resolve issues.
* Supporting financial reporting and management information requirements.
* Helping ensure finance systems remain audit compliant.
* Managing the acceptance of new projects and changes into BAU support.
* Providing additional support for UK finance applications, including invoice processing, bank reconciliation and payments platforms.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

* 5 years' experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2
* Strong SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX scripting skills.
* Experience with Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms and Forms Personalisation.
* Good knowledge of Oracle Applications development standards.
* Experience using TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
* A strong understanding of finance processes, including GL, P2P, AR and Fixed Assets.
* 2 years' experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.

Experience working in a European or multi-country environment would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to wider finance systems such as invoice processing, bank reconciliation or payment platforms.
