Head of Group Reporting

Head of Group Reporting | 6-month initial contract | £95,000 to £105,000 per annum

Altum Consulting are partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit a Head of Group Reporting.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Group's consolidation, statutory reporting, technical accounting and external audit processes. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure the delivery of accurate and insightful financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation and reporting processes
* Overseeing the preparation of the Group's annual report and consolidated financial statements
* Managing complex accounting areas, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, goodwill and impairment
* Providing technical accounting guidance and ensuring compliance with IFRS or UK GAAP
* Leading the external audit process and managing relationships with auditors and advisers
* Improving Group reporting processes, controls and systems
* Partnering with regional and business unit finance teams to improve the quality and consistency of reporting
* Preparing reporting and analysis for the Board, Audit Committee and senior leadership team
* Leading, developing and mentoring the Group Reporting team

The successful candidate will be:

* ACA, CA or equivalent qualified
* An experienced Group Reporting leader within a complex, multi-entity organisation
* Strong technically, with extensive knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP
* Experienced in Group consolidation, statutory reporting and external audit
* Confident managing senior stakeholders across multiple locations or business units
* A strong people leader with experience developing finance teams
* Comfortable driving process improvement and transformation within a changing environment
