Financial Controller

Financial Controller | 3-Month Contract | London | Hybrid Working

Altum Consulting is partnering with a Central London-based organisation to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for an initial three-month contract.

The role will bridge a critical gap within the finance function during the implementation of a new ERP system. The successful candidate will provide stability across day-to-day financial operations, maintain strong controls and reporting, and support the business through a period of systems and process change.

Key responsibilities:

* Leading month-end close, management reporting and balance sheet control
* Ensuring continuity of financial operations throughout the ERP implementation
* Overseeing data migration, testing, reconciliation and process design
* Working with finance, technology and implementation teams to resolve issues
* Strengthening financial controls and governance during the transition
* Managing statutory reporting, audit, cash flow and working capital requirements
* Providing clear financial insight to senior stakeholders
* Supporting and managing the wider finance team through the change programme

The ideal candidate will have:

* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller in a complex environment
* Experience supporting or leading an ERP implementation
* Strong financial control, reporting and technical accounting expertise
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
