A leading UK charity with a large national fundraising operation is seeking a Finance Manager to support its Marketing, Digital and Philanthropy teams.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across fundraising, you will play a key role in delivering financial planning, analysis and reporting that helps shape strategy and maximise income generation. This position sits within a well-established finance function that partners closely with operational leaders to ensure informed decision-making across a complex organisation.
The role offers the opportunity to work with senior leaders across multiple fundraising disciplines, supporting initiatives that drive large-scale income and long-term organisational sustainability.
This position is offered on a 14-month fixed term contract, with hybrid working and 1-2 days per week in a London office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the Marketing, Digital and Philanthropy teams.
- Deliver high-quality monthly reporting and financial analysis.
- Provide financial insight to support campaigns, initiatives and strategic investment decisions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
- Analyse performance trends and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Support development of business cases and investment proposals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and financial planning practices.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure robust and accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
- Proven ability to support senior stakeholders in large, complex organisations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful insight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Experience working with marketing, fundraising, or corporate functions would be advantageous.
