We are working on behalf of a national charity, delivering vital services across the UK, to recruit a dynamic finance business partner. The organisation is undergoing a period of finance transformation to strengthen its strategic capabilities and are seeking a talented individual to play a key role in embedding business partnering at a regional level and ensuring finance is fully integrated into operational and strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, drive regional financial performance, and help shape the organisation\'s long-term sustainability.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the region, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Partner with senior operational and clinical leaders, providing financial insight, challenge, and advice to inform decision-making.
- Deliver robust scenario modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and business cases to support investment, bids, and service development.
- Oversee management accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Develop clear and tailored reporting for both finance and non-finance audiences, fostering greater financial accountability and understanding.
- Contribute to cross-organisational finance initiatives and transformation projects, helping to strengthen the organisation\'s financial strategy and systems.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong management accounting experience within a large, complex, or multi-disciplinary environment.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information with clarity and confidence, particularly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven experience of influencing senior leaders and shaping strategic decisions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide forward-looking financial insight.
- A professional accountancy qualification (CCAB, AAT) or progression towards one.
Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector, or with multiple funding streams, would be highly advantageous.
The role will be mainly remote, with occasional travel to the regions. As well as flexible working there is a very generous holiday allowance, enhanced parental leave and access to Blue Light discount.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to apply their expertise in a role that is both strategically significant and socially meaningful. Applications close on 16th September so please don\'t delay!
