Amsterdam (Hybrid) - €85,000 - €95,000 bonus

Altum Consulting are partnering with an innovative technology business to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst operating at Group level. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data Analytics, and Technology, supporting senior leadership with advanced financial insights powered by strong data management and analytical capabilities.

The successful candidate will not only drive traditional FP&A activities but will also play a key role in developing scalable data solutions, improving reporting automation, and leveraging AI and modern analytics tools to enhance business decision-making.

Role:

• Design and maintain scalable financial datasets and reporting structures.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets using SQL, Python, or equivalent tools.
• Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions to reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve data accessibility and integrity.
• Deliver high-quality management reporting and performance analysis across multiple business units.
• Build robust financial models supporting strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Implement data governance and best practices for financial data management.
• Leverage AI tools and modern analytics platforms to enhance forecasting, scenario modelling, and performance insights.
• Translate complex data outputs into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives through automation and advanced analytics.
• Improve reporting accuracy, speed, and scalability across the group.
• Identify opportunities to utilise new technologies to optimise finance workflows.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies within the finance function.

You'll be/have:

• Proven experience in group-level FP&A or commercial finance within a technology, high-growth, or data-driven environment.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced data skills including SQL and/or Python.
• Experience working with modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics, automation tools, or advanced data platforms.
• Excellent data management and data structuring capabilities.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, data quality, and reporting architecture.
• Ability to bridge Finance and Data/Technology teams.
• High proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools.
