Altum Consulting are currently partnering with a globally recognised private equity asset platform to support their search in hiring a Manager Reporting & Tax into their Amsterdam-based finance team.
This organisation operates across international markets, managing complex portfolios and partnering with institutional investors worldwide. The role sits within a high-performing finance function supporting a sophisticated and multi-entity operating structure.
The Opportunity
This position sits within a central reporting and control function with a strong focus on tax-related financial reporting, governance, and data integrity.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of reporting across multiple structures, while also acting as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external advisors. The role offers a mix of technical accounting, tax oversight, and process improvement within a dynamic and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of tax reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of outputs to both internal and external stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for external advisors, managing data requirements and resolving technical queries
- Review and assess tax treatments under IFRS and US GAAP for complex transactions and structures
- Oversee the preparation and quality of tax-related disclosures within financial reporting
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial and tax data across systems and reporting outputs
- Support and enhance internal controls and review processes across reporting activities
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems, data flows, and reporting efficiency
- Take ownership of projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members, including direct supervision responsibilities
Your Profile
- 6 years' experience in accounting, reporting, or tax within a complex or regulated environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP, with exposure to tax reporting considerations
- Background in financial services, asset-heavy businesses, or similarly complex structures is highly advantageous
- Experience managing stakeholders across multiple teams and external advisors
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and structures
- Previous experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity
