A leading policy think tank dedicated to strengthening Western security through independent research and international collaboration is seeking a Procurement Manager to support the organisation's operational and programme delivery.
Working closely with senior leadership and programme teams, you will oversee procurement processes across a range of projects, ensuring suppliers, partners and service providers are engaged effectively and compliantly.
This is a key operational role within a growing organisation, supporting the delivery of complex projects involving international partners and specialist service providers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and supplier selection.
- Support research and operational teams in identifying and engaging appropriate vendors and service providers.
- Ensure procurement practices deliver best value while maintaining compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Support contract negotiations alongside internal stakeholders.
- Help establish and improve procurement processes within a scaling organisation.
- Work closely with finance and leadership teams to ensure procurement aligns with project budgets and delivery timelines.
The ideal candidate
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in complex organisations or project-based environments.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial.
