Altum Consulting are partnering with a large, complex consumer business to recruit a highly organised project professional to support a busy operational function.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable working across multiple teams, managing critical paths and senior stakeholder activity, and bringing structure to a fast-moving environment. There is also a strong focus on improving existing ways of working, including identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to drive greater efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain critical paths across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate senior stakeholder meetings and governance activity.
• Track actions and ensure deadlines and follow-ups are managed effectively.
• Prepare presentations, meeting packs and supporting materials.
• Improve communication across interdependent teams.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Support wider operational and programme activity as required.

Previous experience within retail operations or a similar operational programme environment would be beneficial, but is not essential. The priority is someone who can quickly understand a complex environment, bring structure and keep activity moving.
