FP&A Manager

Interim FP&A Manager | London (Hybrid) | £400-£500 per day | 6-9 Month Contract (Immediate Start Preferred)

Altum Consulting are partnering with a fast-scaling private equity-backed organisation to appoint an Interim FP&A Manager. This is a commercially critical role, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to drive performance and support strategic decision-making in a demanding PE environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecast cycles.
• Deliver detailed monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards, and board packs.
• Provide robust variance analysis and performance commentary for external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Partner with operational leaders to drive margin improvement and cost optimisation.
• Prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates.
• Enhance reporting processes, controls, and data quality.

What we are looking for:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong FP&A experience within a PE-backed or high-growth environment
• Experience preparing board packs and investor-level reporting
• Advanced financial modelling skills
• Commercially sharp with strong business partnering capability
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating at pace
• Immediately available or on a short notice period
