A global consumer-facing business is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Manager to join its Group Finance team during a period of transformation and systems enhancement.

Operating across multiple international markets, the business has a large-scale consumer footprint and a fast-paced, data-rich environment. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, Group-level reporting, and the opportunity to support decision-making in a highly visible finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong analytical capability and experience in reporting, forecasting and performance analysis within a consumer-led, retail, hospitality, travel, leisure or broader multi-site environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will support the delivery of timely, accurate and insight-led financial reporting for senior leadership and Board stakeholders.

The role will play a key part in maintaining core reporting and forecasting processes while also supporting wider improvements across systems, reporting capability and finance processes.

You will work closely with divisional and international finance teams to provide meaningful analysis, explain performance drivers and help shape the narrative behind the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly & Board Reporting

• Support the delivery of monthly flash reporting and management reporting packs
• Provide clear variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Partner with divisional and regional finance teams to align on key performance messaging
• Assist in the preparation of Board-level reporting and performance commentary
• Produce analysis on trading, sales and profitability trends
• Support monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting activities

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

• Support Group forecasting and budgeting cycles
• Ensure forecast assumptions and changes are accurately reflected and communicated
• Analyse trading performance to provide forward-looking insight on sales and profitability
• Contribute to planning processes during key reporting cycles

Commercial Insight & Business Partnering

• Work closely with Group and operational finance teams to provide timely analysis and support
• Help stakeholders understand financial performance drivers and emerging risks/opportunities
• Support ad hoc analysis and presentations for senior management

Systems & Process Improvement

• Contribute to the implementation and embedding of new reporting tools and processes
• Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, data quality and automation
• Help build a more scalable and sustainable FP&A operating model

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong analytical capability and experience operating in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Essential Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience within FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance
• Strong Excel and financial systems capability
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain variances and trends
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

Desirable Background

• Experience within a consumer-facing, retail, hospitality, leisure, travel or multi-site business
• Exposure to Group finance structures and international operations
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in systems and reporting enhancement
