Finance Systems Project Manager (Contract - Outside IR35, £600-700pd)

Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)

Altum Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Finance Systems Project Manager to join a fast-growing technology business based in Central London. This is a critical contract position responsible for coordinating and driving multiple finance systems initiatives across the organisation.

The successful candidate will own programme coordination, governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight, ensuring projects move forward effectively across several finance platforms.

This is a key role within the business and will suit a strong project leader who can bring together multiple finance systems initiatives and ensure successful delivery across a complex stakeholder landscape.

Role:

• Lead and drive delivery of the finance systems project roadmap across the organisation.
• Own project governance, timelines, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
• Bring together finance, technology, procurement, and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Drive execution of agreed project plans while internal teams manage system configuration and delivery.
• Establish clear project structure, milestones, and success measures.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and decision-making forums.
• Provide regular updates and executive-level reporting to the CFO and senior leadership team.
• Identify process improvement opportunities across finance systems landscape.
• Ensure projects remain on track within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You'll be/have:

• Proven experience as a Finance Systems Project Manager or Programme Manager within high-growth organisations.
• Strong project management background delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to CFO-level and senior executives.
• Ability to drive momentum, accountability, and delivery without direct ownership of technical implementation.
• Experience working with mutiple finance systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfortable operating in environments where structures are still evolving.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and influencing skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
