Interim Finance Business Partner - Media

6-Month Contract | Competitive Day Rate | London / Hybrid

I'm currently working with a well-established media business that is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and supporting key business decisions across a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior commercial and operational stakeholders to support financial performance and strategic decision-making.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

• Deliver insightful management reporting, variance analysis and commentary on business performance.

• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability and key commercial KPIs.

• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support commercial initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, manage costs and drive efficiencies.

• Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Strong experience in Finance Business Partnering or commercial FP&A.

• Previous experience within media, broadcasting, entertainment, advertising or a similar industry would be highly advantageous.

• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.

• Confident partnering with and challenging senior non-finance stakeholders.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment.
