Interim Finance Integration Accountant - SAP

Altum Consulting is partnering with a leading international hospitality business to recruit a Qualified Accountant to support a major integration programme following multiple acquisitions. This is a hands-on technical accounting role requiring strong data migration, SAP and integration experience, working closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on financial data migration activities, including reviewing, validating, and resolving posting entries across General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Leases, and Accounts Receivable invoices.
• Review master data requirements and oversee the data set-up process to ensure accuracy.
• Testing of SAP configuration changes required for the integration.
• Manage fixed asset accounting related to project capex financial control (e.g., laptops and IT equipment), ensuring costs are correctly capitalised and assets are allocated to the appropriate users' cost centres.
• Provide post-integration SAP support to acquisition finance teams.
• Ensure a smooth hand-off of processes across integration partners and internal teams.
• Monitor legacy bank account transactions immediately post-integration, ensuring they are accurately reflected in SAP and matched with opening liabilities.
• Contribute to other integration and finance transformation activities as required to support the wider programme team.

Experience & Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
• Strong experience in project-based accounting work, particularly data migration, finance transformation and/or system integration projects.
• SAP experience (including testing, configuration support, or data migration).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environment.
