I am partnering with a leading, publicly listed global investment firm to appoint a Manager within it's financial reporting function.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys combining technical reporting, process ownership and stakeholder management. Working within an international finance team, you will take responsibility for the quality and control of financial reporting while helping the business navigate complex accounting matters and evolving reporting requirements.

The role

Reporting to a Vice President, you will act as a key point of contact across Finance, Investment, Operations and external audit teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing investor financial reporting and ensuring information is complete, accurate and delivered on time

• Determining the appropriate accounting treatment for new or complex transactions

• Drafting and updating accounting policies, technical memos, financial statement notes and disclosures

• Coordinating audit deliverables across internal stakeholders and external auditors

• Maintaining robust reporting controls, templates and review procedures

• Improving data flows between accounting systems, reporting tools and templates

• Leading reporting and process improvement projects from planning through to delivery

• Coaching colleagues on accounting policies, reporting standards and relevant systems

• Supporting the continued development of reporting capability across the wider team

Education & Experience

• Formal qualification such as RA, CA, CPA or equivalent

• 6 years of relevant accounting, reporting, control or audit experience

• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP standards

• Experience within private equity, asset management or the wider financial services sector is highly advantageous

• Confidence with interpreting complex accounting requirements and translating them into practical policies

• Strong stakeholder coordination and technical writing skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and experience working with accounting systems

• Fluency in English is essential
