Altum is proud to be partnering with the Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP) in its search for a new People & Culture Associate.
LEEP is an evidence-based nonprofit working to eliminate childhood lead poisoning, primarily by addressing lead paint, one of the most significant and solvable sources of exposure. Since 2020, they have launched programmes in 37 countries, supported governments in drafting and enforcing regulation, and secured major commitments from manufacturers. Their work has been recognised by USAID, WHO, UNICEF and others, and is consistently rated as one of the most cost-effective health interventions globally.
While this is a permanent vacancy, due to its urgent requirements we are also searching for asap interim support while the permanent search takes place. The successful interim candidate will be encouraged to apply for the permanent post if of interest. The interim role will be for a 2-3 month period with a competitive day rate. This role will report to the Head of HR and ensure that LEEP's people processes run smoothly, efficiently and consistently, contributing to a flawless employee experience from recruitment to offboarding. A true generalist role, you'll support with people administration and systems, recruitment, payroll data, and learning activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working within HR/People & Culture roles, with oversight of the full employee lifecycle
- Experience working with HR systems, people and payroll data
- Clear communicator, able to explain finance concepts to non-finance colleagues
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
- Genuine interest in and alignment with LEEP's mission and values
Details:
- Remote role, open globally (time zones UTC -5 to UTC 3, with UTC to UTC 3 preferred)
- If London-based, three days per week in office required
- Salary is dependent upon location and experience. E.g., £36,330-£39,098 GBP for London-based roles; €36,922-39,735 euros for Paris-based roles; 4,794,991-5,160,324 KES for Nairobi-based roles; 664,603-715,240 ZAR for Johannesburg-based roles.
