We are working with a dynamic and fast-growing media business seeking a talented Group Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant to play a key role in group reporting, financial control, and process improvement within a creative and fast-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Group Accountant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate and timely group financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
• Supporting the group reporting process, including variance analysis and commentary
• Assisting with statutory accounts and audit processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Driving process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function
• Liaising with international entities and non-finance stakeholders

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and group consolidation experience
• Experience in a multi-entity environment (media, creative, or similar sector advantageous)
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
