Procurement Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid)
Start: Immediate
Duration: 6 month contract

Altum Consulting is supporting a growing technology business that is looking for a Temporary Procurement Support professional to join the team on an interim basis.

The main focus of the role will be to support the procurement team in clearing a current backlog, with a particular focus on vendor onboarding. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working at pace, staying organised and getting things moving.

Role:

• Support the procurement team with the current backlog of requests, particularly around vendor onboarding.
• Review and process vendor information and documentation accurately.
• Manage multiple requests simultaneously and keep track of outstanding actions.
• Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain required information and documentation.
• Help ensure vendor onboarding requests are progressed efficiently and within agreed timelines.
• Learn and navigate new systems and processes quickly.
• Work proactively and independently while supporting the wider procurement team.
• Identify issues or missing information and take ownership of getting them resolved.
• Support the team with other procurement-related activities as required.

You'll be/have:

• Experienced in procurement, vendor onboarding or a similar operations/support role.
• Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple requests and priorities.
• Detail-oriented, particularly when reviewing vendor information and documentation.
• A confident communicator who is comfortable chasing vendors and internal teams when required.
• Quick to learn new systems and processes.
• Proactive, hands-on and willing to get stuck in to help clear the backlog.
• Friendly, approachable and positive, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment where priorities can change.

Desirable Experience:

Experience working within a technology business, previous vendor onboarding experience, or a background supporting teams through a procurement backlog would be highly advantageous.
