Interim Financial Controller (EMEA)

Financial Controller (EMEA) ASAP start, London, initial 3 month daily rate contract.

Altum Consulting are seeking an experienced Financial Controller (EMEA) to join an established Tech firm based in central London. This is an interim assignment for an initial 3-month period, with strong potential for extension.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring financial integrity, strengthening controls, and supporting senior leadership with accurate and timely financial insights during a key phase of the company's growth.

Role:

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (Billing AP/AR/lease accounting and revenue recognition)
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial analysis and strategic insight
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Oversee the cash flow, payroll and month end accounts.
• Manage and improve financial controls, processes, and compliance frameworks
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors and advisors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within finance operations

You'll be/have:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS and US GAAP, with a deep understanding of financial reporting, processes, and internal controls
• Proven experience overseeing end-to-end accounting operations in complex international businesses
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role ideally within a technology or high-growth environment
• Ability to hit the ground running in an interim capacity
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous
