Finance Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and purpose-driven Finance Business Partner to support a growing health research charity on a part-time basis of 3 days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who wants to use their expertise to support meaningful research and help improve health outcomes globally.

About the Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with leadership to provide financial insight, strategic support, and governance oversight to help the charity grow sustainably and maximise the impact of its research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and strategic financial guidance

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Assist with grant management and research funding oversight

• Help develop sustainable funding models and financial strategy

• Support governance, reporting, and compliance requirements

• Work collaboratively with leadership to guide decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Qualified or experienced finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience)

• Experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering

• Interest in health research, public health, or charitable impact

• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills
