Founder & Co-CEO

Ed co-founded Altum Group in 2013 with David McDowell. Alongside his role as CEO for Azura Search, Ed and David lead the wider group.

Ed has 20 years’ experience within the executive search and recruitment industry.  He partners with international blue-chip firms to place high impact leaders to transform and grow their organisations.  His functional specialisms include Board, CEO, CFO, CTO, CHRO and Chief Digital Officers.

Ed is passionate about positive social impact and helps drive our ED&I, Education and Environmental initiatives. He is also actively involved in the design of our biennial Altumate Experience, in which we raise funds for our charitable Altum Foundation.

Ed is proud to have completed many of the Altumate Experiences to date, including our cycle from Amsterdam to London and running the Sierra Leone marathon (a walk in the park compared to his ‘five marathons in five days’ challenge).
