Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per year Bonus

Overview
Altum Consulting are supporting an international FMCG business to recruit a Senior Intercompany Controller to join its finance team in Amsterdam. This role required proven business partnering and analytical skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment. The ICP Controller will play a key role in understanding and communicating cost drivers across the business, ensuring accuracy and transparency in product costing and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to Commercial and Procurement teams, providing insight and challenge where needed.
• Analyse and explain changes in SKU costs, identifying key drivers and ensuring alignment with business performance.
• Support the review of procurement data and challenge assumptions or variances that impact costing.
• Deliver clear and concise financial analysis to senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors.
• Contribute to the development of cost control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives within operations and supply chain.
• Prepare and maintain accurate costing data to support decision-making and performance reporting.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on business partnering and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to handle data quickly and confidently (no advanced formulas or macros required).
• Background in operational, manufacturing, or costing finance.
• Experience in the FMCG or food industry is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior colleagues.
