Interim Group Financial Controller (6-Month Initial Contract | FMCG | PE-Backed | Start ASAP )

Location: London | Hybrid | Strong potential to go permanent

We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed FMCG group operating across multiple sites and international markets. Entering a period of rapid expansion, a new Group Financial Controller is required for an immediate start. An exciting transformation phase will follow. We are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to work closely with the Group CFO and the broader business.

This is a pivotal role with broad scope and senior visibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment.

The Role:

• Responsible for all aspects of group financial control, consolidations, and reporting across multiple entities and countries
• Oversee and develop a small but capable finance team, with scope to grow.
• Drive transformation and automation of reporting processes, moving from manual to streamlined, data-driven systems
• Oversee the implementation of a new group finance system and integration of recent acquisitions
• Partner with senior team and PE stakeholders to deliver insightful, high-quality information.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong group reporting and multi-entity consolidation experience
• Comfortable operating in PE-backed and/or FMCG environments
• Experience of leading finance transformation and systems implementation
• Strong team management skills and the ability to bring structure and pace to a growing group
