Finance Manager - Dutch Speaker Required

Altum Consulting are partnering with an established, international infrastructure business to appoint an experienced Finance Manager. This role will take ownership of site-level finance operations within a complex, asset-intensive environment and represents a key hire within a high-performing regional finance team. The position offers broad exposure across operational finance, statutory reporting, and senior stakeholder partnering.

Reporting into a regional finance leadership function, the successful candidate will act as the primary finance lead for a major UK site, working closely with shared service teams, FP&A, and senior operational stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities

• Full ownership of site accounting accuracy, including monthly and quarterly close activities

• Act as the primary finance contact for the Netherlands site, partnering closely with a centralised finance Centre of Excellence and Group Finance team

• Preparation and oversight of local statutory accounts, audits, and statutory filings in line with local regulations and deadlines

• Management of revenue recognition, cost allocation, balance sheet control, and reconciliations

• Oversight of power billing processes, ensuring accurate billing in line with contractual terms and recovery targets

• Supervision of payroll processing in collaboration with external providers, including handling of leaver settlements where required

• Support accounts payable and receivables activities, including aged debt review and cash collection initiatives

• Provide insight into site cash position and short-term cash flow forecasting

• Support capital expenditure planning, tracking, and deployment in partnership with project managers

• Deliver performance insight to site leadership, with a focus on cost control, forecasting versus actuals, and budget management

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance process efficiency, data quality, and internal controls

• Build effective working relationships across finance, operations, commercial teams, and senior site leadership

Education & Experience

• Educated with a Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

• Posses a formal accounting qualification (RA, RC, CPA or equivalent) is highly desired

• 7 years experience working in financial accounting within a complex, operational, or asset-heavy environment

• Proven experience managing month-end close, statutory reporting, and audit processes

• Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional and centralised finance teams

• Strong understanding of cost management, capital expenditure, and cash flow forecasting

• Experienced partnering with non-finance stakeholders and translating financials into clear business insights

• Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial information clearly to varied audiences

• Fluency in both Dutch & English languages
