Altum is excited to partner with a rapidly growing boutique consultancy seeking a skilled D365 ERP transformation expert to drive the design and implementation of Microsoft solutions. This position is the leader for client\'s ERP transformation journey - typically transforming the company\'s global operations to a single, simplified, standardised and unified set of back-office processes and controls.

Position Overview

As a leader in ERP transformation, you will drive the transformation process for clients, working to simplify, standardise, and globalise their internal operations. You will engage directly with executive teams to foster strong, advisory relationships, ensuring successful project delivery. Your expertise will be key in bridging business goals with technical solutions, ensuring collaborative efforts between clients and your team, and achieving successful Microsoft ERP transformations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision for ERP Transformation, ensuring the successful delivery of desired business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business needs for Microsoft D365 ERP deployment.
  • Manage detailed activity and resource plans for project delivery, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client requirements.
  • Oversee project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring milestones and deliverables stay on track with active stakeholder involvement.
  • Handle staffing and resource allocation, making sure projects meet the required objectives.
  • Lead a diverse, cross-functional team, focusing on back-office operations to drive the ERP transformation forward.
  • Establish governance and quality assurance frameworks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, facilitating communication between teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage the Program Charter and ensure the project remains aligned with the initial goals throughout its duration.
  • Maintain project control materials, including risk logs, change requests, and remediation plans.
  • Coordinate cost estimates and create the budget, ensuring alignment with the Steering Committee for approval and tracking.
  • Create communication materials, including status reports, meeting summaries, and decisions, to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft, external vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful ERP deployment aligned with business goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

  • A Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master\'s degree is preferred.
  • Microsoft certification is highly desirable.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage.

Experience

  • Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale Microsoft Dynamics ERP transformations.
  • Background in working with multinational organisations across diverse industries.
  • Cross-cultural experience, especially in Europe, Asia, and North America, related to tech implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Prior experience in the Services industry is a plus.
