Junior Financial Controller

A leading international organisation with global subsidiaries is seeking a Junior Finance Controller to join its London headquarters. This role provides exposure to group-wide finance operations and collaboration with teams across multiple countries.

Your Role

You will support the group's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and governance. Responsibilities include:

• Managing accounting for the UK entity and supporting overseas subsidiaries.
• Preparing VAT and corporate tax returns.
• Producing consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Supporting the annual audit and reviewing subsidiary reporting.
• Monitoring intercompany reconciliations and internal controls.
• Contributing to budget preparation and financial analysis for management.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, management reporting, financial control, or audit.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting practices and tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with R, Power BI, or other analytical tools a plus.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English; additional languages a benefit.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel.
