Accounts Payable Assistant | Permanent | £27.5k-£29k | 4 days in office | North London (Wood Green area) | Arts Organisation

Altum are recruiting for a proactive and motivated Accounts Payable Assistant to join a well-known arts venue. This would be a busy role in the finance team ensuring accurate posting across the Accounts Payable function and supporting the wider team at the organisation. The role will operate on a hybrid function with 4 days in their North London office.

Responsibilities include;

• Invoice processing, reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and proper approval
• Process payment requests, BACS payments and checking payment runs
• Reconciling accounts payable transactions and monthly statements.
• Investigate any discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
• Run BACS payments and process all bank payment transactions including direct debits
• Generate accounts payable reports, payment forecasts, and aging reports

The ideal candidate will;

• Have experience of working in an accounts payable function
• Be a proactive and motivated team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ambitious and willing to learn new skills
