Group Financial Accountant

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for one of the UK\'s primary charities for an interim Group Financial Accountant to join their financial accounting function and provide support over the year-end period, on an initial six-month contract. This important position will pay a competitive daily rate of up to £500/day depending on experience, and will take a lead on the Group Consolidations for the various entities and subsidiaries of the organisation. It is a hybrid role, with one day per week required from the Central London offices.

As the Group Financial Accountant your role will involve:

• Leading on consolidating the charity year-end accounts with the various subsidiaries
• Integrating the various functions including retail and royalties
• Prepare the accounts from end to end including balance sheet, consolidations and the notes to the accounts
• Reporting on restricted funds
• Acting as a lead contact for the annual audit

The ideal Group Financial Accountant will:

• Be a qualified accountant
• Have strong group consolidating experience within a complex environment
• Be available at short notice
• Be able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
