This Financial Accountant position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing non-profit organisation in a newly created position. This role would be pivotal in providing accurate and timely financial reporting and planning for the organisation and delivering analytical reporting and ad hoc project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing statutory reporting and delivering both quarterly and yearly accounts prep.
• Planning for year-end including delivery of accurate and timely reporting.
• Completing the month-end accounting including all reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Analysing the consolidated accounts, delivering strong reporting.
• Advising on correct VAT treatment for relevant departments
• Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders ensuring accurate and timely posting across multiple systems

Person Specification

• A part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
• Strong experience in financial accounting including statutory reporting
• Experience from working either within a charity or with charity clients from audit is essential
• A proactive and ambitious mindset with ability to analyse data
• Excellent communicator with the ability to work with various stakeholders
